Ziyarat Hajj

Ziyarat Makkah

2. MAKKAH ZIARAT Cave Hira

Cave of Hira

This is the place where the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) received the first revelations of the Holy Quran during the month of Ramadan. The cave is located at a height of 634 meters in the Jabal Al-Nour, the Cave of Hira is four kilometers away from the Kaaba in Makkah.

Thawr Mountain

Thawr mountain is known for the Ghar Al-Thawr (Cave of the Bull), this is the cave where the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companion Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (RA) hid from their persecutors during the migration to Madinah.

4. MAKKAH ZIARAT Jannat-almualla

Jannat Al-Mualla

This cemetery hosts the graves of several family members of the prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) family, including; Prophet’s first wife Khadija (RA), his son Qasim, his uncle Abu Talib, and Abdullah Bin Zubair (RA).

Mosque of the Jinn

Located next to the cemetery of Al-Mualla. This is the place where the Prophet (PBUH) drew a line for Abdullah bin Masood (RA) who had accompanied him after he had been commanded by Allah to recite the Quran and spread Islam to a group of Jinn.

6. MAKKAH Ziarat Mina

Mina

Mina is located at a distance of 5 km to the East of Makkah. During Hajj, pilgrims stay in Mina on the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah and then on 10th to 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah and perform the rite of pelting jamarat.

Arafah

Arafah is located 20 km southeast of Makkah, during hajj, pilgrims stand in Arafah during the daytime on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah. And whoever misses the stay on Arafah has missed Hajj, because the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Hajj is Arafah.”

8. MAKKAH ZIARAT Muzdalifah

Muzdalifah

Muzdalifah is a flat area situated between Mina and Arafah. During hajj, pilgrims move from Arafat towards Muzdalifah after the sunset on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah. Pilgrims combine the prayers of Maghrib and Isha, collect pebbles for pelting Jamarat.

B. Madinah Ziarat Mount Uhud

Mount Uhud

Mount Uhud located north of Madinah 7km from Masjid Al-Nabwi. this was the location of the second battle between Muslims and non-believers from Makkah which was taken place in the third year of the Islamic calendar. The Prophet (PBUH) Said about this mountain, “This mountain loves us, and we love it.”

C. Madinah Ziarat Jannat Baqi

Jannat Al-Baqi

Jannat Al-Baqi is the first Islamic cemetery of Madinah located next to Masjid Al-Nabwi. It hosts the graves of several family members of prophet (SAW). As well as several thousand of prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) companions. And many prominent, pious personalities.

G. Madinah Ziarat Kuba Mosque

Quba Mosque

Quba Mosque is located 3.5km from Masjid Al-Nabwi. This is the place where prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companion Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (RA) first stayed at Madinah after emigrating from Makkah. The Mosque was established here by the Prophet (SAW) and considered as the first Mosque built in Islam.

F. Madinah Ziarat Ghamama Mosque

Mosque of Al-Ghamama

Located about 300m southwest of Masjid Al-Nabwi. The Prophet (PBUH) led the Eid Prayer here. Also, at this location, the Prophet (PBUH) performed the prayer of Istisqa. The word Ghamama in Arabic means clouds, which due to the prayer of the Prophet (SAW) formed and suddenly brought rain upon them.

E. Madinah Ziarat Qiblatain Mosque

Al-Qiblatayn Mosque

This is the place where the revelation of the Holy Quran came to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to change the direction of the qibla from Bait Al-Maqdis in Jerusalem towards the Kaaba in Makkah. During the stay of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Makkah, he used to pray facing Bait Al-Maqdis, and When he migrated to Madinah, he prayed towards Jerusalem for 16 months. During Dhuhr or Asr prayer, the Prophet (SAW) had led his Companions in praying two rakats, when he was commanded to face towards the Kaaba by the revelation in the Quran in Surah Al-Baqarah.

H. Madinah Ziarat Trench Battle

Battle of the Trench

This is the location of the battle and it is 2km away from Masjid Al-Nabawi. The battle of the Trench lasted for 30 days in Madinah between Arabian and Jewish tribes. Led by the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were the defenders of Madinah, he commanded to dig a trench which was suggested to him by his companion Salman Farsi (RA). These trenches gave Muslims the advantage to defeating the enemy armies.

D. Madinah Ziarat Jumah Mosque

Al Jumah Mosque

Al Jumah Mosque is located 2.5 km away from Masjid Al-Nabawi. It was here that the prophet Muhammad (SAW) led the first Jummah prayer shortly after migrating from Makkah.
